Job description
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect with between 8 to 10+ years dedicated to designing and implementing architecture solutions for complex, large-scale system integration projects. This role primarily focuses on software, platform, and infrastructure architecture design that aligns with overarching business goals. Expertise in Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies is essential, along with strong skills in enterprise integration and API management.
The candidate will ideally have experience supporting deployments targeting the Asian markets and an understanding of regional compliance and integration considerations. Familiarity with Generative AI platforms and Alibaba Cloud (AliCloud) is considered advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Architect comprehensive end-to-end solutions addressing complex business and technical challenges.
- Develop architecture plans that encompass software, platforms, infrastructure, and integration components.
- Establish suitable integration patterns and recommend technological solutions.
- Design and assess integrations involving APIs, microservices, ESBs, messaging systems, and ETL processes.
- Lead cloud architecture development, chiefly utilizing Microsoft Azure.
- Analyze technical trade-offs among various integration and platform strategies to optimize performance and scalability.
- Engage with business stakeholders, software developers, infrastructure teams, and fellow architects to ensure alignment and integration cohesion.
- Guarantee solutions meet business objectives including scalability, security, and efficiency requirements.
- Support Agile development and delivery teams throughout the implementation phases.
- Offer guidance and contribute to deployments within Asia, ensuring compliance with regional standards and integration needs.
- Explore and evaluate emerging technologies such as Generative AI for potential incorporation.
Requirements
- A robust 8 to 10+ years of professional experience in Solution Architecture or Technical Architecture.
- Demonstrated background in managing large-scale or complex system integration projects.
- Proficient in software, platform, and infrastructure architectural design.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Solid understanding of cloud architectures and integration methodologies.
- Expertise in API design, including REST and SOAP protocols, and integration patterns.
- Experience with microservices architectures, enterprise service buses (ESBs), message brokers, and ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and environments.
- Experience supporting deployments tailored for Asian markets and knowledge of related compliance and delivery models.
- Bonus skills: Experience with AliCloud and exposure to Generative AI enterprise applications.
