About the Role
We are recruiting a Solutions Architect for a key client based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a full-time role with an initial contract duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The selected individual will lead the design and development of technology solutions across various airline business domains such as Commercial, Customer, Digital, Cargo, Airport, Engineering, and other enterprise platforms. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders and development teams, both internal and external, ensuring that solution designs meet regulatory requirements, architectural standards, business needs, budget constraints, and align with IT strategy.
This position plays a vital role in advancing the Agile transformation journey of the organization by introducing scalable, cost-effective, and adaptable technologies.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Lead enterprise-grade solution design with a proven ability to execute complex IT projects.
- Apply deep expertise in airline domain areas such as Passenger Service Systems (PSS), airline and airport operations, cargo, and engineering.
- Utilize knowledge of Enterprise Architecture, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and integration techniques, particularly within the airline sector.
- Design architectures suited for mission-critical, high-transaction environments.
- Manage and participate in full software development lifecycles using both traditional waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Communicate effectively and manage relationships with C-level executives and other stakeholders.
- Align IT and business strategies to support sustainable and reusable enterprise architecture solutions.
Educational qualifications and certifications preferred include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and industry-recognized architecture certifications such as Well Architected Frameworks, SAFe Architect, TOGAF, Open Certified Architect, or ISEB Architecture. Familiarity with SAFe Agile and similar methodologies is advantageous.
