About the Role
Step into a pivotal position impacting a prominent, commerce-centric platform for a leading ASX 100 Australian company. As a Solutions Architect, you will be integral to a significant digital transformation program that supports millions of customer engagements. This role offers early involvement in defining architecture and shaping resilient, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead architectural initiatives for a high-volume, customer-facing commerce ecosystem.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and technology teams to create modern, scalable, and robust solutions.
- Drive the architectural vision utilizing Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and cloud technologies.
- Influence technical direction, engineering standards, and overall architecture within a dynamic digital environment.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Proficient in .NET Core with a strong software engineering foundation (Java experience considered for exceptional candidates).
- Hands-on expertise in Domain-Driven Design, Microservices architecture, and Event-Driven systems.
- Expertise in Azure cloud platform; AWS experience may be acceptable in select cases.
- Experience managing container orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Previous senior roles such as Staff Engineer or Principal Engineer are advantageous.
- Exposure to high-traffic, customer-facing, or commerce-related platforms is highly desirable.
