Role Overview
Join a leading ASX 100 company as a pivotal contributor to a major commerce platform transformation. This position offers the chance to influence architectural decisions and design scalable solutions that support millions of customer interactions.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with skilled engineering and technology teams to architect resilient, modern solutions across a complex digital ecosystem.
- Define and guide architectural vision for a high-traffic, customer-centric commerce environment where system performance and scalability are paramount.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture concepts, and leverage Azure cloud technologies.
- Exercise significant influence on the technical direction, architectural frameworks, and engineering standards.
Who We're Looking For
- Experienced Solution Architect with strong background in .NET Core and software engineering; candidates with Java experience may also be considered.
- Proficient with Domain-Driven Design, Microservices architecture, and event-driven system patterns.
- Exceptional expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform; practical knowledge of AWS is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes orchestration.
- Previous roles as Staff Engineer or Principal Engineer will be advantageous.
- Familiarity with high-volume, customer-facing, or commerce technology environments preferred.
