Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Solutions Architect to join our team in Toronto, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive computing solutions, primarily working on large-scale projects. This role requires deep knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices architectures, API development, and security protocols.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- Lead architecture design and strategy for enterprise solutions with 10-12+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years on large-scale endeavors.
- Develop and oversee cloud-based deployments using platforms such as Azure, AWS, and OpenShift.
- Design and implement microservices, RESTful APIs, and event-driven architectures to meet business needs.
- Ensure security compliance integrating OAuth and Single Sign-On (SSO) mechanisms.
- Engage in software development activities, coding primarily in Java, Python, or C++.
- Possess domain knowledge in financial services, including working with legacy mainframe systems.
Additional Information
This is a contract position requiring onsite presence in Toronto. Candidates should demonstrate ability to deliver complex technical solutions in a financial domain environment.
