Solution Engineer - APAC

About the Role

Are you enthusiastic about software engineering, mobile technologies, and cybersecurity? Join our Solutions Engineering team to assist top organizations in safeguarding their mobile applications against reverse engineering and tampering. We are seeking a Solutions Engineer in Singapore to serve customers and prospects across the APAC region and collaborate on global projects when required.

This position bridges Sales, Engineering, and Customer Success. You will engage closely with prospects and clients throughout sales cycles, technical evaluations, and onboarding, helping them comprehend how our solutions can strengthen their mobile security strategy.

You should enjoy blending technical skills with customer interactions, able to clarify complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, thriving in a collaborative and international atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team during sales processes, product demonstrations, client meetings, events, and Proofs of Concept.
• Guide prospects and customers through onboarding and implementation stages.
• Help optimize product configurations to maximize benefits from our solutions.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Support and Engineering teams to address technical support and configuration inquiries.
• Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for both technical specialists and executives.
• Relay valuable feedback from clients and prospects back to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing groups.
• Keep current with advances in mobile security, reverse engineering, and application protection technologies.
• Work collaboratively with international teams across various regions and time zones.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or relevant fields.
• Experience in a Solutions Engineering, PreSales, or customer-facing technical role within SaaS or software product companies.
• Strong coding ability and technical troubleshooting expertise.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Android and/or iOS application development.
• Knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, Xcode, and mobile build workflows.
• Interest in mobile application security and broader cybersecurity topics.
• Capability to explain technical matters confidently to developers, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired but Not Required

• Experience in cybersecurity or application security fields.
• Familiarity with products such as ProGuard, DexGuard, iXGuard.
• Background with reverse engineering tools and methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise clients in banking, financial services, or fintech sectors.
• Additional language proficiency in Mandarin, Chinese, or Malay.
