Solution Architect for Developer Experience Programme - Windows 11 & macOS

We seek a Technical Specialist Premium to strengthen the Developer Experience programme for Windows 11 and macOS platforms by enhancing Zero Trust Network Access infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the complete solution architecture lifecycle for the Developer Experience initiative focused on Windows 11 and macOS environments.
• Translate diverse business, security, operations, and developer needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.
• Design and implement secure software distribution strategies, encompassing package management, trusted repositories, and deployment of developer tools.
• Develop architecture standards supporting application allow-listing, least privilege access, approved elevation mechanisms, software provenance, auditability, and compliance mandates.
• Lead and conduct thorough technical evaluations, architectural reviews, and Proof of Concept exercises to optimize functionality, security, cost-efficiency, and operational feasibility.
• Create comprehensive architecture documentation including solution architectures, high-level designs, integration schemas, data flow models, security control mappings, and technical decision records.
• Partner effectively with teams across Engineering, Security, End-User Computing, Application Management, and Operations to ensure smooth roll-out and transition to routine operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in solution architecture delivering enterprise-grade platforms for workplace, endpoints, infrastructure, or developer ecosystems.
• Proficient with Windows 11 and macOS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Defender, Endpoint Privilege Management, and Endpoint Security Architecture.
• Experienced in software packaging, distribution, package management systems, trusted repository frameworks, and developer tool deployment.
• Familiarity with modern developer environments, including software development life cycles, source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, integrated development environments, containerization, build systems, and command line interfaces.
• Solid understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), least privilege principles, application control, certificate management, network proxies, and security governance.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders and lead technical decisions across global multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous roles as Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or hands-on engineering positions.
• Knowledge of DevOps methodologies, Agile delivery frameworks, cloud platforms, APIs, continuous integration/delivery, and relevant architecture or technology certifications.
