Role Overview
Solution Architects play a pivotal role in evaluating a project's technical viability and associated risks, taking charge of crafting the overarching technical and solution architecture. They are tasked with determining system structures, defining interfaces, and establishing solution principles that guide organizational practices, including software design and implementation strategies. The scope and focus of the Solution Architect’s responsibilities are tailored to the specific business challenge.
Primary Responsibilities
- Responsibility for application or domain architecture within solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing system landscapes.
- Defining system structures, interfaces, and implementation plans aligned with established architectural principles.
- Overseeing and mitigating technical risks to ensure the delivery of solution services through selected technologies.
Qualifications and Certifications
- Preferably hold Capgemini Architects certification level 1 or 2.
- Relevant security qualifications.
- Industry recognized certifications like IAF and/or TOGAF 9 or an equivalent.
