Overview

IIFL Home Finance Limited is a technology-driven leading affordable housing finance company in India focused on empowering women and first-time homebuyers. As a subsidiary of IIFL Finance Limited and supported by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, the firm is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to strengthen its quality assurance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to develop detailed test scenarios and cases.
• Conduct multiple test types including functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, and sanity tests.
• Engage actively in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Log, monitor, and confirm defects via defect tracking tools.
• Perform RESTful API testing using Postman.
• Execute SQL queries against SQL Server databases to verify backend data correctness and integrity.
• Review requirements to offer timely feedback for quality enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, and product owners for requirement clarity and troubleshooting.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Compile test execution reports, defect statistics, and updates on quality status.
• Ensure deliverables are completed within schedule while upholding high quality standards.

Candidate Profile

• Between 2 to 4 years of professional experience, with a maximum of 5 years.
• Practical exposure to mobile testing and mobile automation.
• Strong knowledge in functional, API, and database (SQL) testing.
• Familiarity with Home Loan or BFSI domain is advantageous.
• Willingness to work on-site at Thane (Wagle Estate), Mumbai.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants should hold a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Technology.

Compensation

Annual salary range offered is INR 600,000 to INR 1,300,000.
