Role Overview
The Software Sales Specialist will primarily focus on driving TUFLOW software sales to commercial and government clients across Australia, Asia, and the Pacific region. Reporting to the APAC Sales Lead and working alongside the APAC Sales and Licensing Administrator, this role will be pivotal in expanding our customer base and enhancing client relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for inquiries regarding software purchases.
- Cultivate a deep understanding of flood, stormwater, river, coastal, and water sectors alongside TUFLOW products to engage effectively with current and potential customers.
- Accelerate software sales by guiding prospects from initial inquiries through to onboarding.
- Conduct persuasive product demonstrations and prepare proposals showcasing TUFLOW's benefits.
- Manage accounts proactively to support customer retention and subscription renewals.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking functions.
- Stay current with industry developments and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams including technical, product, and leadership to enhance customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales within software, technology, or technical solutions fields.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships and advance sales opportunities effectively.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to comprehend technical products and effectively convey their advantages to clients.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple clients and priorities concurrently.
- Commercially aware and customer-oriented mindset.
- Valid unrestricted work rights in Australia are required.
