Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer (SS07) for our Riyadh, Saudi Arabia office. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and have at least five years of relevant professional experience. Accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers and proficiency in English, both spoken and written, are essential. The role demands a professional approach to managing work pressure and dedication to maintaining agreed working hours, along with a commitment to ongoing self-improvement to enhance the work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and proficiency in programming languages relevant to quality assurance tasks.
• Create, prepare, and execute system testing scripts and application testing based on documented test procedures.
• Evaluate and measure system performance, ensuring the maintenance of a rigorous application quality management system.
• Author and update user manuals to ensure they are accurate, efficient, and current.
• Document database specifications and prepare detailed system, subsystem, and maintenance documentation.
• Produce knowledge-transfer and instructional documents and oversee the central archive for all technical documentation.
• Conduct technical research, analyze challenges, and report on application quality through comprehensive designs and studies.
• Adhere to security standards and engage in preventive system and application maintenance activities.
• Deliver training sessions and facilitate knowledge transfer while continuously updating technical documents.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or in a related role.
• Professional certification from the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and to adhere strictly to scheduled working hours.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the technology field.
