Primary Responsibilities

• Drive the continuous technical advancement of the platform by introducing ideas aimed at improving robustness, scalability, and performance.
• Participate actively in key architectural decisions, including feature architecture, data modeling, API design, and tooling strategies.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Business teams to devise technical solutions focused on user needs, challenging initial requirements when appropriate.
• Execute tasks in a structured, self-managed manner covering everything from breakdown to production deployment and monitoring; maintain high standards in code review, testing, and documentation.
• Engage with Senior Engineers and Tech Leads through pair programming, joint architectural discussions, and open, constructive feedback to elevate your technical expertise.

Candidate Profile

• Possess 2 to 3 years of practical experience in software development, preferably within scalable SaaS environments, including live production support.
• Demonstrate proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with a particular affinity for NestJS frameworks on the backend; also have solid knowledge of modern frontend frameworks like React.
• Have experience designing modern APIs, system architectures, and data models, able to evaluate trade-offs for different technical approaches.
• Be familiar with deployment pipelines, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) as integral parts of development.
• Know your strengths and leverage them effectively while proactively seeking assistance to overcome challenges.
• Maintain a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset, aligning closely with the product vision by questioning "why" requirements exist before determining "how" to implement them.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is advantageous.
