About Dubber and Role Overview
Based in Melbourne, Australia, Dubber is a publicly listed technology company on the ASX, specializing in AI-driven conversation intelligence. Our platform integrates with some of the largest telecommunications networks worldwide, supporting millions of interactions daily across APAC, North America, the UK, and Europe. We're seeking skilled Software Engineers to join our Melbourne-based engineering team, contributing to cloud-native applications and innovative AI features used by global clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud-native software solutions.
- Develop modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
- Build robust backend services primarily in C# .NET and/or Go.
- Design and consume RESTful APIs effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to launch new capabilities.
- Participate in architectural and engineering discussions to evolve the platform.
- Enhance system performance, reliability, and security measures.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested codebases.
- Continuously refine engineering processes and tooling to boost productivity.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should bring practical experience in multiple areas such as commercial software engineering, React and TypeScript, backend development with C# .NET and/or Go, Kubernetes and modern cloud platforms, REST API design, Node.js or similar backend technologies, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and software architecture principles. Experience with Ruby or other programming languages is an advantage. While a degree in Computer Science or a related field is desirable, equivalent professional experience is also welcomed.
