Software Engineer

Job Overview

The role involves conducting research, providing consultation, analyzing and assessing software system requirements. You will pinpoint technological limitations and weaknesses in current systems along with related processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing, debugging, fault diagnosis, and error correction in application programming ensuring adherence to established protocols and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain program code aligning with system requirements, design frameworks, and technical specifications following quality accreditation standards.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, end-user guides, and operational procedures.
• Offer expert advice in software design projects including financial evaluation and cost analysis to support decisions on software acquisitions and upgrades.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of one year of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Familiarity with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) encompassing requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and maintenance phases.
• Strong skills in programming, debugging, and software quality testing.
• Experience using version control systems, especially Git.
• Knowledge of code review processes and established software development standards.
• Proven ability to work in Agile teams and collaborate across functions effectively.
