Role Overview

This position involves hands-on frontend development primarily using React, alongside backend work with Node.js and AWS infrastructure. The candidate will engage in technical planning, ensure high implementation standards, and at times lead development projects independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and improve web editors and user interfaces utilizing TypeScript and React.js.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and internal tools leveraging TypeScript (Node.js).
• Work closely with the Technical Lead to implement strategic platform directions.
• Fully manage features from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Engage in code reviews, architectural discussions, and uphold engineering best practices.
• Maintain and optimize product performance, scalability, and dependability at scale.
• Support AWS deployment procedures, continuous integration/delivery pipelines, and infrastructure enhancements.
• Document systems, features, and operational workflows clearly.
• Occasionally spearhead feature development initiatives independently.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient with React and TypeScript for large-scale, production dashboard development; strong backend programming skills with Node.js in TypeScript.
• Experience working with large language models (LLMs) or generative AI in production or significant projects, including prompt engineering, API integration, and managing unpredictable outputs through evaluation and fallback mechanisms.
• Hands-on AWS deployment and cloud-native system expertise.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes, managing multiple environments, and infrastructure-as-code methodologies.
• Understanding of designing scalable architectures, improving performance, and secure coding standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams including product management, QA, DevOps, and data practitioners.
• Adaptability to work on both modern and legacy codebases with a quick learning curve.
• Demonstrates strong ownership, clear communication, and maintains high engineering standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of website builders or content management systems.
• Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embedding/vector search technologies, or agentic workflows including multi-source control processes.
• Familiarity with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Background in large-scale monitoring, observability, or distributed systems deployments.
