Role Responsibilities

As a software engineer at NetApp, you will be an integral part of a highly skilled engineering group focused on product development, strategic test planning, automation, and comprehensive system-level testing. Key Qualifications

• Proven experience with software development using C and C++ within Linux or UNIX operating systems.
• Strong understanding and application of software engineering best practices.
• In-depth knowledge of systems engineering principles including computer architecture, operating systems, file systems, networking, algorithms, and data structures.
• Hands-on expertise in various testing disciplines such as automation, integration, system, scale, and regression testing of software features.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Familiarity with storage and cloud technology environments is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are considered a plus.

Education Criteria

Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) or equivalent professional experience are also acceptable.
