Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate across functions—including product, design, operations, and infrastructure—to develop innovative application experiences.
• Design and implement custom user interfaces employing cutting-edge programming technologies and methodologies.
• Assess and refine code to elevate quality, efficiency, and performance; actively participate in peer code reviews.
• Provide leadership by setting strategic directions and goals, overseeing major projects, mentoring colleagues, and facilitating onboarding of new team members.
• Architect scalable and efficient systems powering sophisticated applications.
• Detect and resolve issues impacting performance and scalability; lead initiatives aimed at minimizing technical debt.
• Work with a diverse array of programming languages and technologies.
• Maintain accountability for components, features, or systems with comprehensive end-to-end knowledge.

Mandatory Qualifications

• At least eight years of programming experience in relevant languages.
• Six or more years spent developing large-scale applications or equivalent experience.
• Proven success leading significant initiatives and managing projects and teams effectively.
• Track record of producing high-quality, reliable software deliveries.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline or practical experience.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
• Demonstrated experience enhancing quality via comprehensive code reviews, testing strategies, controlled rollouts, monitoring, and proactive adjustments.
• Skillful use of data-driven analysis to clarify technical issues and offer detailed feedback and solutions.

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Experience integrating AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows, generating measurable impacts like improved efficiency or enhanced quality.
• Commitment to responsible and ethical AI practices, including risk evaluation, bias reduction, and quality and accuracy validation.
• Continuous development in AI expertise, such as prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and keeping up with emerging AI technologies.
