Position Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer passionate about engineering excellence, ownership, and constructing dependable production-grade systems. Instead of prioritizing years of work experience, we value problem-solving skills, high-quality output, and thoughtful engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

• Demonstrate strong proficiency in Java fundamentals and practical experience using the Spring Boot framework.
• Apply advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL, including writing complex SQL queries, data schema design, managing transactions, optimizing indexing, and ensuring query performance.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs aligned with business requirements.
• Understand critical concepts such as transaction management, concurrency control, retry mechanisms, idempotency, and robust failure handling.
• Author clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best practices.
• Create and execute both unit and integration tests to ensure reliability.
• Systematically identify and resolve issues encountered in production environments.
• Possess an understanding of distributed system principles and architectures.
• Utilize Git for version control, participate in code reviews, and embrace continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows alongside modern engineering methodologies.
• Demonstrate end-to-end ownership spanning from design phases to production deployment.
• Capitalize on artificial intelligence capabilities extensively while maintaining control over its application.
