About the Role
Join Google as a software engineer developing next-level technologies that impact billions worldwide. This position focuses on mobile development for Google Pay, delivering seamless and secure shopping experiences. You will contribute to large-scale system design, UI design, and artificial intelligence integration while collaborating across teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Flutter (Dart) codebases to create consistent cross-platform mobile applications for Google Pay users on Android and iOS.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and UX leaders to design and build user-facing features.
- Work closely with partner teams such as Google Shopping and AR/ML groups to integrate AI and ML models into client applications.
- Create and refine Large Language Model (LLM) prompts and AI infrastructure to enhance conversational AI functionalities.
- Perform comprehensive AI evaluations involving both operational and qualitative analyses of conversational AI responses and generative AI outputs like images and videos.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 1 year of software development experience in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, or JavaScript.
- Minimum 1 year experience in data structures and algorithms.
- At least 1 year developing Android applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
- Experience building accessible technologies.
- Proficiency in back-end programming languages like GOLang, Rust, or Java.
- Experience with machine learning languages (e.g., Python).
