About the Role
Join a leading global AI-native company specializing in search infrastructure, based onsite in Singapore. The organization is supported by top-tier venture capital firms and serves numerous AI-focused enterprises and developers worldwide. As a software engineer in the AI/ML domain, you will contribute to a team responsible for all layers of the search and retrieval system, including crawling, parsing, machine learning system optimization, retrieval algorithms, and product surface innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Work within a high impact team delivering end-to-end ownership of complex projects, ranging from launching new product lines to significantly improving machine learning inference latency and boosting core infrastructure performance. Flexibility to engage with different problem domains based on business priorities is expected.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates possess solid fundamentals in distributed systems and proficient coding skills, with a preference for Rust or C++. Experience with low-latency, large-scale systems is highly valued. The organization supports a flat structure prioritizing hands-on engineers over managerial roles. Candidates from strong Machine Learning or software engineering backgrounds from top AI or infrastructure companies, ambitious AI startups, or quantitative research/development backgrounds transitioning into AI infrastructure are well-suited.
