About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time Software Engineer position specializing in e-commerce backend systems. This remote role offers an opportunity to contribute to scalable infrastructure supporting millions of users globally, focusing on real-time, high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and sustain scalable backend services within distributed environments.
- Produce clean, reliable, and maintainable code conforming to best practices and rigorous testing protocols.
- Enhance performance by profiling, debugging, and improving core algorithms.
- Engage actively in code reviews, system architecture debates, and technical planning.
- Collaborate closely with product management, design teams, and fellow engineers to deliver features timely.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong programming expertise in Go, Python, or Java.
- Knowledge and experience in distributed systems, microservices architecture, or cloud-native application development.
- Proficiency with both SQL and NoSQL databases and ability to fine-tune them for optimal performance.
- Solid grounding in data structures, algorithms, and principles of system design.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git and working within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments.
