This role manages the development of core components that integrate wallets, tokenize data, and facilitate agentic transactions. The position involves collaborating closely with Global Payment Technology teams to design, deliver, and continuously enhance payment technology, influencing broader technical roadmaps and improving architectural performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of foundational payment systems enabling agentic purchasing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Global Payment Technology to design and implement wallet integration and tokenization features.
• Define the technical direction for the team and impact the larger technology strategy.
• Drive ongoing improvements in system architecture and performance.
• Partner with product and program management teams to align software development with business objectives.
• Recruit, hire, mentor, and develop software engineering teams to enhance their effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of professional engineering experience.
• At least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Over 8 years in defining and developing multi-tier web services.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proven ability to communicate with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to gather requirements and present software designs and strategies.
• Experience in talent acquisition, mentoring, and growing software engineering teams.
