An elite financial technology company is seeking skilled Python developers who thrive on building sophisticated, scalable applications and enjoy tackling complex engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that support advanced platforms and analytical tools capable of processing massive datasets in real-time.
• Create scalable software solutions emphasizing high performance, reliability, and ease of maintenance.
• Work closely with product managers, fellow engineers, and stakeholders to convert functional requirements into robust, deployable features.
• Contribute to a high-quality codebase by producing clean and efficient code to ensure sustained system growth and stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Demonstrated professional experience developing production-level applications using Python.
• Experience in full-stack development is beneficial, with knowledge of React being a strong advantage.
• Prior exposure to trading or financial technology sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
• Strong enthusiasm for technology with a commitment to staying current on modern frameworks, tools, and engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within diverse teams.

Compensation and Location

Competitive salary package offering up to CAD 180,000 per year plus bonuses.
