Software Architect

About the Role

Capillary Technologies is seeking a Software Architect who will be instrumental in shaping the architecture of our software solutions. This role focuses on aligning system designs with business objectives, ensuring robustness, scalability, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and sustain the overarching architecture of software systems emphasizing scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to interpret business needs into precise technical specifications.
• Keep current with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose and integrate innovative tools that refine software development.
• Lead and mentor development teams, promoting a cooperative and inventive work culture.
• Partner closely with project managers, product owners, and stakeholders to guarantee timely and high-quality project outcomes.
• Perform code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and architectural principles.
• Deploy and supervise quality assurance mechanisms to uphold code excellence.
• Develop and update detailed documentation covering software architectures, design decisions, and guidelines.
• Effectively communicate architectural concepts and design strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Have 9 to 12 years of professional experience as a Software Architect or similar software development positions.
• Expertise in software design principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and associated frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making.
• Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills.
