Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and management of the technical architecture underlying our software platforms and products. This role involves transforming business needs into robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable technological solutions while setting and upholding architectural best practices within engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design comprehensive system architectures including distributed systems, APIs, data structures, integration frameworks, and cloud-enabled platforms.
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, define technical standards, and oversee architecture-related decisions throughout development cycles.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, security experts, and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment with business goals and future technology roadmaps.
Identify technical risks and dependencies, facilitate architectural reviews, and assist in tackling complex technical challenges.
Maintain system requirements related to performance, scalability, availability, security, and maintainability.
Champion engineering excellence through thorough documentation, design assessments, technical standardization, and promotion of knowledge exchange.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
Deep expertise in software architecture, system design principles, and common design patterns.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language with the ability to analyze and assess application source code.
Strong background in distributed systems, microservices architecture, API design, databases, messaging systems, and system integration techniques.
Familiarity with cloud services, infrastructure management, container technologies, and contemporary deployment practices.
Comprehensive understanding of scalability, high availability, performance tuning, reliability, and disaster recovery methodologies.
Expertise in designing secure applications, including knowledge of data protection and access control mechanisms.
Skill to assess and choose technology stacks and architectural approaches based on business and technical demands.
Excellent analytical abilities, decision-making competence, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and documentation talents enabling clear explanations of complex architecture concepts to diverse audiences.
Capacity to lead cross-functional collaboration and balance immediate delivery needs with long-term architectural vision.
Well-versed in software development life cycle processes, software testing, code quality assurance, and software engineering best practices.
