Role Overview
The Social Worker at Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is a key contributor to the well-being and academic success of students from FS1 through Year 13. This role involves working closely with students, families, educators, and external agencies to deliver assessments, interventions, and family support. The focus is to create safe and nurturing home environments that positively influence student performance and well-being.
Primary Responsibilities
The Social Worker facilitates school-home partnerships, helps families access local support services, and addresses various social, emotional, and environmental factors that impact student attendance, learning, and welfare. They champion the school's safeguarding and inclusion policies in line with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge directives and UAE child protection legislation.
