Social Impact Consultant

About the Role

Worley is seeking a Social Impact Consultant or Senior Social Impact Consultant to join its ANZ Society, Governance and Engagement team located in Perth, with opportunities also available in Brisbane or Sydney. This role involves working alongside an enthusiastic group of social practitioners across a variety of projects ranging from initial concept phases to final closure or decommissioning, including support for in-house engineering teams. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement customized social impact evaluations and management strategies.
• Gather, analyze, and synthesize social data to develop specific social baseline reports.
• Create and execute community engagement strategies and conduct meaningful stakeholder consultations.
• Produce detailed reports and communication materials of high quality.
• Establish and nurture robust client relationships while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Contribute to business growth by participating in proposal development and identifying new project opportunities.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

The ideal candidate is adaptable, cooperative, and driven by a strong commitment to social performance with innovative thinking.

• Possess 3 or more years of early to mid-level consulting experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in social research, social sciences, or social impact assessments in Australia, particularly within consultancy environments.
• Proven ability and passion for conducting inclusive stakeholder engagement, including designing and implementing engagement methodologies in established communities.
• Experience in energy, resources, or infrastructure sectors is preferred, alongside knowledge of cultural heritage and Native Title processes or approval procedures.
• Outstanding communication skills with the capacity to clearly convey complex ideas through reports, presentations, and client interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining ongoing customer relationships is a plus.
• Must hold a valid unrestricted Australian driver’s license.
