About Avista

Role Overview

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support people with Intellectual Disabilities and their families. Candidates must embrace a person-centred, community-oriented, and socially inclusive approach aligned with our core values and best practice guidelines supported by research.

Position Details

Social Care Worker roles are available on a permanent full-time, part-time, and relief contract basis at Avista Community Residential in Roscrea, covering North Tipperary and South Offaly. Salary ranges from €41,260 to €57,789, subject to relevant public sector experience and prorated according to hours worked.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Possession of a QQI Level 7 or higher qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Studies, or an equivalent credential eligible for CORU registration.
  • Current CORU registration or confirmation of CORU registration application.
  • Valid, clean Irish manual driving licence.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, particularly those exhibiting behaviours of concern.
  • Proficiency in English.
