Position Details

• Location: Tullamore, County Offaly, Ireland
• Contract: Full-Time, averaging 42 hours weekly
• Salary Range: €35,000 to €50,000 annually depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living and personal development skills
• Encourage autonomy and sound decision-making
• Implement person-centered care plans effectively
• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
• Fulfill Key Worker duties, supporting service users to achieve their goals
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to support service objectives
• Record and report incidents or complaints involving staff, service users, or visitors
• Willingness to work both day and waking night shifts

Candidate Requirements

• At least a Level 5 qualification in Social or Health Care Studies or related field (applicable for Social Care Assistants)
• A minimum Level 7 qualification in Social or Health Care Studies or a relevant discipline (for Social Care Workers)
• Registration with CORU for Social Care Workers
• Possession of a full Irish driving license, necessary for use of company vehicles
• Flexibility to undertake both day and night shift work
• Previous experience in social or healthcare is advantageous but not mandatory
• Strong understanding of relevant care standards and regulations
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Successful Garda Vetting or Police Clearance
