Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Promote independence, personal development, and decision-making among those in care.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, health maintenance, and grooming.
• Deliver person-centered care aligned with established individual plans and objectives.
• Follow all relevant policies, procedures, regulations, standards, and codes of practice.
• Accurately administer and document prescribed medications.
• Serve as a key worker by supporting service owners to reach their goals.
• Report and record all incidents and complaints involving staff, service users, or visitors.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes for those in care.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 5 qualification in Social or Health Care Studies.
• Valid full Irish driving license, as company car use may be required.
• Prior experience in social or healthcare is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Understanding of pertinent standards and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Garda Vetting or Police Clearance required.
