Job description
Role Overview
This position involves overseeing the collections and recovery processes for SME Working Capital loans such as Cash Credit (CC), Overdraft (OD), and Trade Finance accounts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise delinquent, overdue, and written-off SME loan accounts to ensure effective recovery.
- Manage collection efforts across all account statuses, from early-stage dues to non-performing assets (NPA) or hard-bucket cases.
- Perform field visits to engage directly with borrowers to negotiate repayment terms.
- Oversee collaboration with collection agencies and vendors while meeting recovery targets.
- Work closely with Legal, Credit, and Business departments to resolve complicated recovery situations.
- Continuously monitor the quality of loan portfolios and track recovery performance through management information systems (MIS).
- Ensure all collection operations comply with regulatory standards and internal policies.
Experience & Skills
- At least 3 years of experience managing collections or recoveries in SME or business loan sectors.
- Strong knowledge of SME collections, working capital finance, non-performing assets (NPA) recovery, vendor and field collection management, and legal recovery processes.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed any graduate-level education.
