Job description

About Arcsen

Arcsen is a premier global technology consulting company focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions and expert advice to businesses throughout the EMEA region. The firm maintains partnerships with industry leaders including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, Slack, Sprout, Certinia, and Splunk, ensuring tailored, high-quality services for its clients.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Sitecore Solution Architect to take full ownership of the architecture for a complex, multi-market Digital Experience Platform utilizing Sitecore XM Cloud. The role involves shaping the structure of the public-facing website, numerous country-specific microsites, the member and loyalty portal, as well as the mobile content backbone. This individual will design the integration framework connecting Sitecore to the enterprise CRM via an integration layer and act as the senior technical lead within the Sitecore practice, setting essential standards for the team.

Responsibilities

  • Establish the architecture strategy for Sitecore XM Cloud, including rendering host approach, content modelling, multi-site and multi-market configuration (covering multiple points of sale), and environment management across production and non-production setups.
  • Design and govern a bi-directional API interface between Sitecore and the CRM through the enterprise integration layer, handling inbound lead and behavior event capture, case generation, and outbound personalization tokens such as tier, segment, and next-best-offer; avoiding direct point-to-point integrations.
  • Architect single sign-on mechanisms integrating Sitecore administration and CRM via the enterprise identity provider, specifically Azure AD.
  • Define personalization frameworks leveraging audience segments fed from the customer data platform into Sitecore for dynamic decision-making in real time.
  • Ensure non-functional requirements are met, including page load times under 2 seconds on desktop and under 3 seconds on mobile, API p95 response times below 200 milliseconds, and support for over 50,000 concurrent users and 1,000+ transactions per second.
  • Own and design CI/CD processes using Sitecore CLI, Azure DevOps, and Git, incorporating branching strategies compliant with client IT governance.
  • Create comprehensive solution design documents, sequence diagrams, and integration specifications; facilitate architecture reviews and serve as design authority.
  • Collaborate with Sitecore vendor advisory teams and client IT governance functions to assure solution quality.
  • Mentor senior and mid-level developers, enforcing standards for coding, security, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a comparable discipline.
  • A minimum of 8 years working experience with Sitecore, including at least 2 years specifically with Sitecore XM Cloud or composable/headless Sitecore in live production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience within the Airline and Aviation sectors is mandatory.
  • Certification in Sitecore XM Cloud is required.
  • Proven expertise in architecting enterprise-level, multi-site and multilingual Sitecore deployments.
  • Strong background in integration architecture using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven designs; familiarity with enterprise integration layers or ESBs, preferably MuleSoft.
  • Experience implementing single sign-on and identity federation using Azure AD, OIDC, or SAML protocols.
  • Proficient in .NET and C# technologies, accompanied by solid knowledge of modern front-end frameworks such as Next.js and React.
  • Experience setting up and managing CI/CD and DevOps processes specific to Sitecore solutions, including Sitecore CLI, serialization, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead design discussions with clients.

Benefits

  • Opportunity to work on practical projects with real clients.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment fostering growth.
  • Clear pathways for professional advancement.
