Site Support Engineer (Pumps, Cyclones, Valves)

We seek a dedicated and motivated individual to be part of our Pumps, Cyclones, Valves (PCV), and Knelson Concentrator team based in Tarkwa, Ghana. This role offers the opportunity to impact positively by supporting mineral processing equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits in coordination with the Site Account Manager and PC&V Site Sales team.
• Supervise the installation, maintenance, and rebuild activities of PC&V and Knelson equipment on-site.
• Possess a foundational understanding of the operational processes of PC&V/Knelson equipment within mineral processing systems.
• Troubleshoot basic issues related to PC&V/Knelson equipment during on-site activities.
• Collaborate with Site Sales and Product Line Management professionals for guidance on process challenges and exploration of new business prospects.
• Ensure timely delivery of aftermarket services and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of installed equipment on sites, including both company and competitor products.
• Maintain adequate levels of run-of-mine products (ROPs) at client sites and FLS locations to guarantee continual operations.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field such as Mineral, Chemical, Metallurgical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Three to four years of professional experience specifically with pumps, cyclones, valves, and Knelson equipment installations and rebuilds.
• Willing and able to undertake extended travel across Ghana and neighboring West African countries.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of additional regional languages is advantageous.
• Understanding of equipment selection, sizing, and operational parameters.
• Excellent communication skills tailored to diverse stakeholders including management, clients, vendors, and contractors.
• Demonstrated negotiation and influencing abilities both internally within teams and with external parties.
• Strong teamwork capabilities, balancing participation in multiple teams effectively.
• Good organizational, multitasking, and time management skills to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
