Site Supervisor

Role Overview

Serve as the key operational lead on Texo's manufacturing floors, overseeing concurrent production lines, organizing workforce allocation, supervising site installations, and guaranteeing that each output module complies with Texo's quality benchmarks.

Work closely with the COO to assist production planning, scheduling, and manpower management, independently tackling daily operational issues without requiring frequent escalation.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day production activities across all manufacturing stages, from raw materials to finished dispatch-ready units.
• Allocate and supervise labor resources across multiple production areas including fabrication, welding, panel assembly, insulation, MEP, carpentry, and finishing, while prioritizing tasks.
• Collaborate with the COO on weekly production timelines, delivery schedules, and staffing plans.
• Monitor production progress to identify and address bottlenecks proactively, ensuring adherence to delivery commitments.
• Apply thorough knowledge of prefabrication systems, modular building techniques, steel framing, insulation, and interior finishes.
• Interpret fabrication blueprints, architectural designs, and site layouts for accurate production execution.
• Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure flawless production from steelwork to final finishes.
• Conduct multi-stage quality inspections throughout production phases including structure, cladding, insulation, MEP, flooring, and finishing works.
• Perform comprehensive final module evaluations before shipment, verifying dimensions, MEP functionality, finish quality, and waterproofing standards.
• Supervise on-site installation of modules at client locations both locally in Hyderabad and remotely, coordinating contractor efforts and labor deployment to meet specifications.
• Oversee interior finishing activities such as flooring, doors, windows, painting, MEP fittings, and sanitary installations, ensuring compliance with approved designs and quality benchmarks.
• Manage daily operational challenges including material shortages, workforce complications, contractor delays, and quality concerns, prioritizing immediate resolution and maintaining production logs for COO review.
• Take autonomous decisions within operational limits, escalating only when necessary.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proficient understanding of prefabricated and modular construction methods, including steel framing, MS section fabrication, and insulation materials like rockwool and polyurethane foam.
• Ability to independently interpret fabrication drawings and architectural blueprints.
• Knowledge of interior finishing processes involving tiles, paint, doors, windows, and MEP rough-ins and installations.
• Competence in welding inspection and ability to assess weld quality on site.
• Experience supervising site installations or erection work.
• Track record of managing teams of 10 to 30 workers on production floors or construction sites.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude in handling material deficits, contractor issues, and scheduling interruptions without close supervision.
• Exceptional coordination skills managing multiple contractors, vendors, and teams concurrently.
• Fluency in Telugu and Hindi for effective communication on the factory floor, with basic English proficiency for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Preference given to candidates from prefabrication, modular construction, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB), steel fabrication, container modification, sandwich panel manufacturing, or interior contracting with site supervisory background.

Compensation

The monthly remuneration ranges between ₹20,000 and ₹40,000.
