Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our technical team in Singapore. This role demands strong hands-on expertise in managing Java-based applications with a focus on production stability and performance.

Key Responsibilities and Skills

  • Application and production support, ensuring high availability and responsiveness of Java and Spring Boot services.
  • Implementing effective Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance system reliability and scalability.
  • Proficient debugging and troubleshooting across Linux/Unix platforms and complex distributed systems.
  • Designing and utilizing observability solutions including monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain service health.
  • Applying Platform Engineering concepts to improve system infrastructure and automation.
  • Working with RESTful APIs and microservices architectures to support agile and cloud-native development.
  • Engaging in incident, problem, and change management processes to minimize downtime and ensure prompt issue resolution.
  • Participating in CI/CD pipelines and adhering to DevOps methodologies to streamline deployments and integrations.

Additional Information

The role is based in Singapore and requires on-site presence. Candidates should have a thorough understanding of cloud environments and scripting in Linux/Unix contexts.
