Site Project Engineer

Overview

The Site Project Engineer leads the management and execution of engineering construction projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with project objectives. This role involves supervising on-site teams and providing expert technical guidance to achieve timely completion within budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project parameters, verifying technical feasibility and quality standards in partnership with the direct manager.
• Manage and allocate internal resources effectively to achieve client-specified outcomes.
• Organize, schedule, and oversee the progress of assigned projects directly on site.
• Maintain regular communication with the direct manager, delivering updates on budgets, schedules, and overall site performance.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams internal to the organization to optimize project methodologies and safeguard profitability.
• Establish metrics and systems for project data tracking, recommending actionable improvements.
• Develop and implement on-site testing protocols, perform routine quality assurance checks, and ensure adherence to applicable standards and specifications.
• Perform continuous safety evaluations, ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Compile detailed site reports and maintain thorough documentation throughout project execution.
• Handle modifications to project scope, timelines, and costs in close coordination with the direct manager.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role with relevant project management responsibility.
