About the Company

Kilsaran Road Surfacing and Contracting specializes in the supply and installation of high-quality bituminous road surfacing materials. Due to ongoing expansion, they are inviting qualified candidates to join their established team.

Role Overview

This is a permanent, full-time role where successful applicants will initially work closely with experienced team members. They will be supported to develop skills and progress towards advanced site management positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage on-site activities including supervision of machinery, workforce, subcontractors, materials, and overall productivity and progress.
  • Coordinate with client site supervisory personnel.
  • Keep daily records documenting labor and machinery usage.
  • Conduct site testing according to requirements.
  • Agree on measurement of works and ensure timely client billing.
  • Support monitoring of project financial performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all health and safety policies and practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering or Construction is advantageous.
  • Preferably 2 to 5 years of post-graduate experience, though not mandatory.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude with the capability to self-manage.
