Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Kildare during the evening shift. This is a full-time position offering a collaborative and supportive work environment focused on employee development and career growth.
Working Hours
The shift runs from 4:30 PM to 2:30 AM, Monday evening through to Saturday morning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily sampling and testing of materials including ready-mix concrete and aggregates to ensure size compliance and strength standards.
- Carry out inspections before and after concrete pouring.
- Complete all necessary compliance paperwork and maintain accurate records.
- Inform supervisors promptly about any deviations from set standards or specifications.
- Support the Quality Manager in meeting third-party requirements and standards.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Quality Manager.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage daily workload with a focus on meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with the construction sector.
- Previous experience in quality assurance roles.
- Competence in reading, understanding, and interpreting technical drawings.
