Role Overview
The Site Engineer will oversee on-site construction activities to guarantee timely, budget-conscious delivery of civil engineering projects meeting the highest quality benchmarks. This role demands close collaboration with project managers, contractors, and various stakeholders to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Report to the Site Manager or Project Manager and execute assigned tasks accordingly.
- Ensure all site work conforms to specifications or acceptable standards as directed.
- Precisely set out the site and structures per project schedule, avoiding delays.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy across all project facets.
- Guarantee quality compliance of all executed works.
- Document and preserve detailed records of all work performed.
- Coordinate availability of necessary resources to support smooth and timely operations.
- Implement and manage Work Health and Safety protocols consistent with Safety Manuals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering projects.
- In-depth knowledge of civil construction methods, material usage, and relevant legal standards.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with resilience under pressure.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Valid driving license and readiness to travel across various sites as necessary.
