Role Overview

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising daily on-site activities ensuring construction and fit-out tasks comply with design plans, quality benchmarks, safety standards, and timeline requirements. Key duties comprise coordinating with civil and structural engineering personnel, contractors, and subcontractors; tracking project progress; troubleshooting site challenges; and reporting to management concerning schedule, cost, and technical issues. The role includes performing routine inspections, executing quality control processes, scrutinizing drawings and technical documents, and ensuring that actual site work aligns with the intended designs. Additional responsibilities are assisting with material approvals, participating in site meetings, and interacting with clients and consultants as necessary. This position requires full-time presence on-site in Doha, Qatar.

Key Qualifications

• Proven expertise in supervising on-site construction activities and managing coordination among stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork with project members, contractors, consultants, and clients, along with report preparation.
• Experience with quality assurance procedures including site inspections, standards compliance, and corrective action implementation.
• Solid understanding of structural and civil engineering principles with capability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; possessing professional certifications or registrations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Qatar or GCC local building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Competency in engineering and construction software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management applications.
• Capacity to work autonomously, make informed technical decisions, and maintain project schedules in a dynamic environment.
