Site Engineer

About the Role

House Construct is seeking a diligent and proactive Site Engineer to oversee daily construction operations within residential and commercial projects located in various Bengaluru areas including Nagarabhavi, Jalahalli, Yelahanka, Bannerghatta, and Indiranagar. Preference will be given to candidates fluent in Kannada.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct daily construction activities on site ensuring adherence to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Liaise effectively with contractors, laborers, and other site personnel.
• Monitor critical construction processes such as RCC, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing work.
• Verify all measurements, levels, alignments, and dimensions during execution phases.
• Ensure materials and resources are optimally utilized without wastage.
• Identify and troubleshoot on-site challenges promptly, coordinating necessary corrective actions.
• Maintain comprehensive daily site documentation and progress reports.
• Implement and oversee safety protocols and site cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely completion according to schedule.

Qualification and Skills Required

• Possess a Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering.
• Have between 1 to 4 years of experience supervising construction sites.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering aspects related to residential construction.
• Hands-on familiarity with procedures in RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing work.
• Effective communication and coordination capabilities.
• Proficient in managing site personnel and related activities.
• Committed to working onsite and accountable for job responsibilities.
