Site Coordinator - Timber Frame

Overview

Ecological Offsite Manufacturing is currently looking for an experienced Site Coordinator to join their expanding team in Tullow, County Carlow. This role is ideal for candidates with a background as a Foreman, Site Manager, or Carpenter within the Timber Frame construction industry, who are interested in managing large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary site surveys and base checks prior to timber frame kit deliveries.
• Carry out consistent quality inspections during project execution to verify adherence to industry standards, specifically IS 440.
• Prepare and resolve snag lists based on quality assessments.
• Collaborate closely with contractors' site teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure the completion of all Quality Assurance documentation.
• Oversee stock control at the site, documenting received, used, and returned materials.

Qualifications and Experience

• A qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is desirable but not mandatory.
• At least three years of professional experience in roles such as Site Manager, Foreman, Finishing Foreman, or Site Engineer is essential.
• Alternatively, experienced Carpenters with prior Timber Frame project exposure are encouraged to apply.
• Comprehensive understanding of Timber Frame Construction methods and Irish Building Regulations.
• Strong communication skills paired with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
• Possession of a valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification.
• Full Irish Driving Licence is required.
