Siri Language Engineer (Filipino)

About the Role

As a Software Engineer with a focus on machine learning, you will play a crucial role in advancing Siri’s capabilities in global markets by integrating advanced technologies and tailoring personalized experiences.

Responsibilities

You will lead the design and implementation of large-scale machine learning solutions that incorporate state-of-the-art research into global products. Your work will involve generating data, developing models, managing their lifecycle, and deploying them internationally. Collaboration with various Apple teams to address international market requirements and sharing expertise is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong focus on product delivery with emphasis on enhancing end-user experience;
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python and Swift;
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles and computer science fundamentals;
• Practical experience with machine learning, especially with large language models including fine-tuning and evaluation;
• Proven technical skills in agentic engineering with complex project experience;
• Excellent communication abilities in written and spoken forms;
• Fluency in Filipino, familiarity with Philippine English, and comfort working in an English-speaking workplace.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent industry experience, ideally with background in iOS or macOS development;
• Experience in training, evaluating foundation models and creating scalable workflows;
• Capability to define research problems, design experiments, implement solutions, and communicate outcomes effectively;
• Collaborative mindset and adaptable approach thriving in fast-evolving settings.
