About the Role

Blackwoods Signage, a reputable provider of industrial, safety, and custom signage solutions across Australia, is seeking a hands-on Signmaker to join our Truganina production team. As a key team member, you will actively take part in manufacturing processes by operating production equipment, constructing signage, and aiding with warehouse and dispatch duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate signs according to technical specifications and quality criteria
• Follow production timelines and meet quality benchmarks consistently
• Assist in picking, packing, and dispatching orders to customers
• Use machinery including CNC routers confidently during production
• Support in color matching, profiling, and ensuring print quality when needed
• Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe workspace at all times

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in signmaking, signage fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, printing, or equivalent settings
• Strong practical assembly skills with an emphasis on high-quality output
• Familiarity with handling reflective, overlaminate, or printable film materials
• Able to interpret and implement production drawings, artwork, or instructions
• Alignment with Blackwoods' core values including safety and teamwork
• Good interpersonal skills and a proactive, positive approach to work
