Sign Installer Role Overview

Join FASTSIGNS of West Metro as a Sign Installer, responsible for the installation and upkeep of signage for both new builds and existing properties. You will work with various sign sizes mounted on poles, buildings, billboards, and other setups using diverse tools. This role demands attention to detail, self-drive, teamwork, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation and maintenance activities for both interior and exterior signage.
• Interpret shop drawings, site plans, and sign location documentation accurately.
• Physically handle lifting loads up to 75 pounds, work at elevation, and in confined spaces.
• Transport signage materials to installation sites efficiently.
• Prepare worksites by removing old signage and prepping mounting surfaces appropriately.
• Adhere rigorously to safety procedures during setup and installation.
• Install signs strictly according to work orders.
• Clean and tidy installation locations upon job completion.
• Conduct quality control checks and report results to leadership.
• Maintain effective teamwork across departments to support operations.
• Comply with all organizational policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications and Preferences

• Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Effective communicative abilities.
• A strong willingness to acquire new skills and knowledge.
• Good organizational and time management capabilities.
• Effective team collaborator.
• Prior experience with power tools is advantageous.
• Background in electrical work is highly preferred.
• Previous sign installation experience is beneficial.

Employee Benefits and Compensation

• Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Hourly wage ranging between $23.00 and $30.00.
