About The Role
Qube Logistics NZ seeks a well-organized, system-oriented, and safety-conscious SHS Systems & Support Specialist to join the Safety, Health and Sustainability team. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about enhancing systems, assisting people, and fostering safer and more standardized operational practices within the company.
The primary function involves providing support and administration for safety management systems and general SHS responsibilities, emphasizing the management and improvement of Qube's SHS software platforms, including INX. Responsibilities include coordinating software upgrades, creating training programs, supporting reporting and compliance efforts, and collaborating with internal departments to reinforce SHS protocols throughout Qube Logistics NZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and enhance SHS-related software systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors, corporate groups, and business units to implement system updates and improvements.
- Create training materials and deliver user training across QLNZ.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff to build confidence and skills in safety system processes.
- Utilize reporting and Business Intelligence tools to compile monthly executive, KPI, and other relevant reports.
- Assist with audits, compliance verification, assurance activities, and SHS improvement projects.
- Maintain risk registers, system workflows, and related documentation necessary for SHS operations.
- Offer general support to the SHS, People & Culture, and Training departments as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Experience with safety software systems, preferably in logistics, safety, or high-risk operational settings.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Health and Safety and/or holding an appropriate HSE qualification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with confidence in working across digital platforms.
- Strong analytical skills backed by a practical and solution-oriented mindset.
- Exceptional attention to detail to generate accurate reports, training documentation, and system data.
- Excellent communication abilities to support, coach, and assist users at various organizational levels.
- Dependable, collaborative, and adaptable approach, coupled with a firm commitment to safe and sustainable workplace practices.
