About the Role

Qube Logistics, a leading nationwide empty shipping container service provider in New Zealand, requires a dependable full-time Labourer to join their Timaru team. This position involves hands-on work including container clearing, steam cleaning, painting, and gradually undertaking basic repairs as skills develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clearing of containers, steam cleaning, painting, and progressively handle basic container repairs.
• Operate basic equipment and hand tools ensuring safety compliance at all times.
• Assist the team with various general labouring duties as needed.
• Maintain strict adherence to Qube’s zero-harm safety standards every shift.

Working Conditions

Location: South Beach, Timaru, Canterbury, New Zealand

Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm; Saturdays when required from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a current driver's license and be able to successfully pass pre-employment and Ministry of Justice background checks.
