Shopify Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to remotely create, tailor, and enhance Shopify storefronts and applications. This position involves both theme customization and app development to deliver e-commerce experiences that drive conversions and scalability.

Key Duties

• Craft and adapt Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Develop bespoke Shopify apps leveraging the Shopify API and contemporary frameworks.
• Connect third-party platforms such as payment gateways, fulfillment, and marketing services.
• Boost storefront performance, improve conversion rates, and enhance Core Web Vitals metrics.
• Design and sustain custom checkout extensions alongside Shopify Functions.
• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and design teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

Required Expertise

• Minimum of 3 years experience with live Shopify storefront or app development.
• Proficient in Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify CLI, Hydrogen, or Online Store 2.0.
• Knowledgeable about Shopify APIs including GraphQL Admin, Storefront, and Functions.
• Familiarity with e-commerce best practices and strategies for improving conversions.
• Comfortable with Git, continuous integration/deployment, and modern frontend development tools.

• Ability to work independently across different time zones and asynchronously.

Compensation and Benefits
