Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Shopify Developer to remotely design, customize, and enhance Shopify storefronts and applications. This role involves both theme development and app creation aimed at delivering scalable and conversion-focused e-commerce experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and tailor Shopify themes using Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Develop bespoke Shopify applications leveraging the Shopify API and modern development frameworks.
- Integrate third-party services such as payment gateways, fulfillment centers, and marketing tools.
- Enhance storefront performance, boosting conversions and optimizing Core Web Vitals.
- Implement and upkeep custom checkout extensions and Shopify Functions.
- Work collaboratively with merchandising, marketing, and design teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum three years experience building production Shopify storefronts or apps.
- Proficiency in Liquid templating, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Shopify CLI, Hydrogen, or Online Store 2.0 technologies.
- Knowledge of Shopify APIs including GraphQL Admin, Storefront, and Functions.
- Understanding of e-commerce best practices and techniques to improve conversion rates.
- Familiarity with Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, and contemporary frontend tooling.
