Job description
Purpose of Your Role
As a valued part of Checkers & Rally’s Corporate Field Operations team, the Shift Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the General Manager by overseeing efficient shift operations that achieve sales and profit goals, uphold procedures, and deliver superior Guest and Team experiences. The role focuses on ensuring that the restaurant remains the first choice for both customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and profit growth through excellent Guest satisfaction and strong operational management during shifts.
- Report any issues or suggestions concerning the restaurant, team members, or Guests promptly to the General Manager.
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies and operational procedures throughout the shift.
- Provide training to Team Members on company policies, procedures, and Guest service standards.
- Address and manage complaints as well as violations of policies and procedures effectively.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging environment for both employees and Guests.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess 1 to 2 years of management experience in restaurant settings, ideally within Quick Service Restaurants (QSR).
- Demonstrate fundamental math skills necessary for operational tasks.
- Able to work flexible hours including extended shifts as business requires.
- Maintain high energy levels suited for a fast-paced workplace.
